TEAM LEADER – SECONDARY SUPPORT UNDERGROUND

Job Description :
An opportunity exists for an experienced Underground Team Leader to safely lead secondary support crews, ensure production targets are achieved, execute work according to mine standards, and ensure full compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA).
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise underground secondary support crews.
• Ensure work is completed safely according to mine standards.
• Achieve production targets and maintain productivity.
• Enforce compliance with MHSA and site procedures.
• Conduct toolbox talks and report hazards and incidents.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Grade 12 Certificate or School Report
• 2–3 years’ experience in underground secondary support
• Record of Service
• MQA Competent B & A Certificate
• Medically fit to work in an underground mining environment
• Knowledge of MHSA and underground mining safety standards
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends and overtime when required
