Job Description :
Yongama Labour Solutions is seeking suitably qualified and experienced mining professionals to support operational requirements at mining operations in and around Rustenburg. Candidates must demonstrate the technical competence, safety awareness and work ethic required to perform effectively within a production-driven mining environment.

- Drill Rig Operator

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performing assigned mining, engineering, maintenance or operational duties safely and efficiently.
- Complying with Mine Health and Safety requirements, site standards and operating procedures.
- Conducting required pre-use inspections and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Meeting production and operational targets applicable to the position.
- Using tools, machinery and equipment in accordance with approved procedures.
- Reporting hazards, defects, incidents and operational problems promptly.
- Maintaining acceptable housekeeping and workplace safety standards.
- Working effectively with supervisors, team members and other operational personnel.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification, competency certificate and/or trade certification applicable to the position.
- Previous mining industry experience relevant to the position applied for.
- Sound knowledge of mining safety standards, procedures and operational requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to operational excellence.
- Ability to work shifts and meet the physical demands associated with mining operations.
- Clean criminal record.
- Must meet applicable medical fitness requirements.
- Position-specific licences, certificates and competency requirements must be valid where applicable.
