Job Description:
Yongama Labour Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist to provide electrical engineering expertise on borehole development projects incorporating renewable energy systems, particularly solar power.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrical inspections on winding equipment.
- Perform scheduled and breakdown maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults.
- Test systems following maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain electrical equipment according to approved standards.
- Record maintenance activities and equipment defects.
- Report safety hazards and equipment failures.
- Support safe, reliable winder operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Relevant Electrical Trade Certificate.
- Qualified Electrician.
- Winder experience:
- Mining experience:
- Relevant competency certificates:
- Record of Service.
- Medically fit for the mining environment.
- Knowledge of mine electrical systems and safety requirements.
